| In 2004, the Elton Courir returned to
a route that begins north of Elton and heads into town. The photos
on this page were taken at about noon.
One land owner provided chickens both
for the Mardi Gras to chase and for the children who were there to
see the Mardi Gras.
A photo at the bottom shows one Mardi
Gras who literally has a monkey on his back. The other shot shows
Ryan Simon, accordionist with the band Acadien (he is singing into
the accordion mike). |
